Adlertag, (Day of the Eagle), is an instrumental composition written and recorded the day the German National Soccer Team was eliminated from the final round in the World Cup 2006. The song is a tribute to the incredible style of football the German team brings to the pitch, and I hope the energy of the tune captures some of the emotion I felt as I watched them play then, and now in World Cup 2010.
